A native of Atlanta, Christopher has lived in Western North Carolina since 1991.
An avocation for photography and enthusiasm for running rivers spawned a
career as a professional photographer and a photography business that has
been based in Asheville since 1998. Along the way, he spent nine years on the
technical side of Sports Illustrated magazine, photographed hundreds of
weddings, started a successful postcard and poster wholesale business and led
over a dozen river trips through the Grand Canyon of the Colorado River. He is
still involved in photography, marketing his panoramic landscape and floral

Christopher lives in South Asheville with his wife Donna Lane and their two cats, Miles and Ruby. They enjoy
seeing live music, films, hiking and great coffee. Christopher is a member of the Asheville South Rotary Club , the
Reuter YMCA Advisory Board and Toastmasters International.
